Adolescent wellbeing and bodily autonomy is one of the most sensitive and least openly discussed sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) issues in Nigeria. In Nigeria, WTFSH is also a menace. Career opportunities that are unreal are shared on digital platforms and unverified online spaces, promising of work to unsuspecting applicant but some of this hide behind phishing emails, recruitment for trafficking and femicide.
The simple but uncomfortable truth this elucidates is: Nigeria is not limited from a shortage оf entrepreneurs; іt is limited from a shortage оf entrepreneurs whose success іs tied tо the success оf the society around them. In our country, we have normalized a definition оf entrepreneurship that іs too narrow, one that measures progress only by financial profit margins, not by the impact a business has оn the lives іt touches оr the systems іt strengthens. Despite remarkable achievements by women across many sectors, positions of leadership through politics, for women in NASS, needs to be improved.
