Adolescent wellbeing and bodily autonomy is one of the most sensitive and least openly discussed sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) issues in Nigeria. For young women and adolescent girls, the combining factors of restrictive law, social and religious disapproval, and limited access to accurate information creates a situation in which many pregnancies are ended secretly and under unsafe conditions.
