‘Invest to Prevent’ against Violence

The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women will mark the launch of the UNiTE campaign (Nov 25- Dec 10) — an initiative of 16 days of activism concluding on the day that commemorates the International Human Rights Day (10 December).(UN.Org, 2024).

The UNITE campaign has identified 3 points to consider

– Revitalise commitments
– Accountability
– Action

As part of our activities, we have taken steps to engage, participate and advocate for the investment and prevention of GBV.

With support from African Women Development Fund – KASA! Initiative, we are working towards the development and implementation of sexual harassment at workplaces policy that will intervene in reducing and ending sexual assault and abuse in places of employment.

Follow our journey as we collaborate and participate In stakeholders conversation, media advocacy and policy discussions to explore the challenges and solutions in the next 16 days and beyond.

We strongly advocate for a safe workspace for employees. Do check that your workplaces have an active sexual harassment policy in place.
