Towards the end of 2022, HEIR Women Hub was privileged to be one of the beneficiaries of the Nigerian Youth Futures Fund (NYFF) Grant. With over 3000 applications across the nation, our proposal was considered for such a great opportunity.
In this light, HEIR Women Hub will be hosting a Leadership and Civic Knowledge Enhancement Project for Young Women in the FCT. With the theme – Advancing Leadership Capacity of Young Women: A cross-generational strategy to tackling Gender Gaps in Governance.
This project is implemented by LEAP Africa and Funded by Ford Foundation and MacArthur Foundation.
This conference aims to train young women within the age range of 18-35 years and raise awareness among them on civic knowledge and leadership. All they need to know and how they can use their rights as women to bring about a massive change in our dear nation, Nigeria.
The Nigeria we want is achievable and that move starts now!
